ObviouslyA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenReally, I have no clue! Avatar-'Day of the Dead Cat' Art Print by UMe ImagesA dead cat and a shattered dream do not make the best bedfellows, for they have no dignity to speak of. They have no measure of trust, no understanding of the earth as it spins round its axis. They have no compassion, no hope for the future. A dead cat and a shattered dream cannot dance, they cannot write poetry or paint an impressionist picture upon stretched canvas. They cannot climb mountains, nor run the London marathon. They have no grace, no love to offer, in fact, a dead cat and a shattered dream are just that, dead. 15/02/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
