Knock Back

Knock Back

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

A little risky Sunday ditty! Somewhat Chris inspired lol Avatar-lennon jno-baptiste-Untitled (Venus - Penis spotted) 2011

"

One night I landed on Venus

and offered her my genus,

as she laid soft in bed,

where she laid her sweet head

this is what she said:

"Get off me you oaf,

tis man that I loathe

and while I admire your keenness,

one thing I can't stand,

I'll hold up my hands,

is that thing

that you call a penis!

Ha you have not lost your wit Andrew. Many thanks!
Ah, the dreadful and dreadad K.B., where the end line is enough to truly shrivel your ego.
Yhe words alone, knock back, were enough t o bring back the horror and ego shrivelling nightmare that was the school disco... The grown up disco...and many more too gruesome to mention.
I think our troubles are much the same my friend, neither of us had permission to board :)

Ha, ha tis wonderful what poetic licence does for us though. Cheers Lorry.
Some Venuses just don't want to be entered.
Probably a planetary alignment thing. lol

I take my dogs out for their "business" in the wee hours of the morning and as our front door faces East .. my first glance at the skies is for the marvelous brilliance called Venus ... i may never look upon her the same ;}

And the moral of this tale? Don't go landing on Venus :) She's clearly not for you. Thank you for the mention. Good to bring some light hearted fun into our writing.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
