Suppression

Suppression

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

When feelings simply overwhelm!

"

Close to tears

she holds fast,

pushing her feelings

into the abyss

of adultery.

There she longs

to be free

from the shackles;

to take her pleasures

from the warm flesh

that she so desires.

From the being

who makes her

rivers flow

in tumbling sparkling

waters,

as she watches him pass,

and knows

that at the flick of a wrist,

the wink of an eye

she would

submit,

take him

without hesitation.

Suppressed feelings. All that temptation bubbling away on the back burner till it reaches boiling point. Will she, won't she? I wonder how many have been there? You convey the emotions in that situation well. Good morning John.

Marriage is hard. It takes work, a constant tending to. We are all subject to temptation, no matter how complacent the relationship may be. It only takes a wink of an eye...or a smile. Question is, do we dare?

Ah perhaps tis not marriage but other bonds? And what do we dare dear sweet poetess? Many thanks.
a question arises...is she unhappy in her marriage/current relationship? or is she unhappy with herself and knows deep down that acting on those desires will only be a temporary fix...does she want him...or just something she can't seem to touch.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
