The Struggle

The Struggle

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

There is so much wrong done in this world by the few to the many.

"

Serve nothing but nature's call

and you will be sainted.

Here,

deep in these pits,

lie the hearts of men.

True men whose deeds

are just.

But they face Satan and his kin,

day in and day out.

The devil marches boldly

upon this earth

knowing that creation

is simply a lie.

Knowing there is no god

and so he has free reign

to exert his sordid will

upon the innocent.

He will use any excuse,

religion, intrusion, confusion,

fear, starvation and thirst,

to bring his might down

upon our children.

We must be strong,

rise up as one humanity,

as a breed evolved

from deep space debris,

and fight for our right

to peace, to justice

and to longevity.

I would love humanity to win but it often seems we are outnumbered. Many thanks.
To peace, to justice and longevity. I will certainly raise my glass to that. We live in a world which is intolerant and where there isn't a great deal of compassion. There is much strength in your lines.

powerful words, and yes, we must be stronger than they...and in time...we will inherit the earth, not the few and the mighty...

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
