Customer Service

Customer Service

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

How is it all providers are the same, the industry is a scandal. They operate a legalised scam system and get away with it!

"

Your broadband lies

and deceptions

are hidden in the small print.

You offer services

you are unable to deliver,

make grand declarations

of the possible,

while setting parameters

you could guide a super tanker

through.

You set your standards

in accord with an Ethernet,

wired, connection,

when all sane folk use wireless systems.

You stick stoically to your

ability to solve the problems

even when this is an

impossibility,

while refusing compensation,

or a get out of contract clause.

You keep customers on the phone

for hours and send endless

engineers to fiddle about aimlessly.

You run those 'customers' round

in ever increasing circles

in the hope they will

capitulate to your brick wall

refusals of resolution.

And you unashamedly

charge them for the privilege.

Agreed Andrew, many thanks.
very frustrating to have a legitimate issue with such a provider ..and they are pervasive in too many other areas as well...you get a robo voice and must give information in order to eventually talk with ..someone who is a language barrier ... finally get half way through re-giving all your information...get cut off...start over ...get through the info part successfully with a human ...told you must be transferred to someone else ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! it is disgraceful!! here in the US i am so grateful for the power we can access in the Attorney Generals office of Consumer Protection ... they have "fixed" problems quickly ...sometimes with just the telling the "company" that you have already contacted them .... its disgraceful ... businesses are not the world me Da passed on to me ;(((( well written John ... concise, cohesive and direct ... without ranting ;)

Hours on the phone, promises, and hardly any compensation for the aggravation...Frontier for phone and internet is just as bad...especially a pain for where i live...we have so few choices if any.
