SpringA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenAlmost!Spring is in the air buds and shoots begin to grow, being starts again.
Frozen roots awaken now and shake free their weary limbs.
Birds begin to build, straw and mould and leaf and grass making up their nests.
Now in search of mates to choose to fertilise renewal.
Sun offers its heat, giving life to precious soil, hibernation ends.
Mammals venture from their sets, leave their foxholes, lairs and dens.
As the warmth returns man removes his winter coat glad to see blue sky.
and leaves his isolation to walk amongst fields of rye.
