Penon de IfachA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenOn the Costa BlancaUnder
the shadow of Calpe's rock, rising
high above blue Mediterranean waters, I
begin to feel complete again as the
Spanish sky spills splendid rays of warm sunshine, to bathe
my skin. I
close my eyes, embracing
the sounds of the waves churning
in their relentless thrashing
and crashing on the sands. My
mind slips into neutral mode as I
simply float in the calm, allowing
voices filled with
laughter and conversation to
wash over me. Here I
don't fret, here I
don't worry, or contemplate or
plan. Here I
simply feel at one with
the nature of life and
the nurturing of the earth. 17/03/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more.. |
