Destiny's ChildA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenLife seems unfair to many.Where ripened grapes have soured into vinegar I live in the primordial soup of existence, and its need to be present in the shadow of turmoil. In it's needs to violate and destroy soft tissue as it rapes at the hearts of those with dreams, tears down the facade of normality and leaves visceral entrails to be pecked in perpetuity by dark, cold blooded carrion creatures. In this dustbowl, I, a cave-dwelling fugitive from life, long to be suckled with life giving milk from a firm young breast. But that dream is simply an empty wish that will never be my fate. 21/03/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
