Keeping Rosy

Keeping Rosy

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Written after watching the TV film by the same name. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2614700/

"

Splat!

She hit the pavement

with a smile upon her

long pursed lips.

She took him with her,

pulled him over the edge

and cast him into Hades

where he belonged.

"Sometimes,

just sometimes

you have to do things

for others."

she thought

as she watched

Rosy playing happily

inside the apartment,

just before

the final act,

just before she used

all her pent-up

fear and anger

and rage

to such good effect.

hmm, interesting scene - revenge/self imposed justice can be quite satisfying especially in a cliffhanger or on the edge although a little messy to clean up ... :)

Indeed. An unexpected ending but one that has the audience cheering! Thanks Pete.
That was a vivid scene. Where the innocent play in safety and the predator takes a one way trip.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
