The Cycle

The Cycle

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

As it says on the tin!

"

My memories come

in purple pages,

recalling all the angst,

and all the rages

I have ever felt.

Amongst them all

are plenty blues

when I think back

to all the sordid do's

and arguments.

But even now

some things are rosy

when you and I

get really cosy

on the couch.

Then we have another spat

and things get black,

I simply don't need you

on my back

again.

So once more you see

we're back to blue,

one more word

and purple too

returns.

Oh yes everyone have their purple pages. We all love to get cosy as the warmth felt will relieve the stress. Music is my way of getting cosy alongside watching the drama series, seriously.

You are welcome
Your life in colours John. Black and blues are full of woe but rosy a far better way to go. Get cosy on the couch I say. Good morning.

Poetic licence. She is not touchy feely lol. You too.
wow, yes the angst flows from this like a sordid melody...
i heard a bit of music in my head...and it was an abrasive sound...not pretty.
but i sure felt the poem.

Indeed I think that music would fit Jacob. many thanks for feeling this one but hope not too deep.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
