you can't see beyond the mask

that I wear to save my heart.

An interesting format. Two stanzas 5/7/7. Never tried a sedoka before. It sounds like a cocktail :) Some people wear masks and some don't. It's not always easy to tell them apart.

Thank you Chris.You can choose 5-7-5 and I think mix the two. The Japenses have captured the market in variations of short form poetry. I have lost count of the different types.
