Divergence

Divergence

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

My third attempt at sedoka.

"

I offer you love,

all the tenderness I have

I will give without question.

I question your love

tenderness I do not seek

for fulfilment is my goal.

John,
What a confession!!! Reminds me of that old 50's film title, "Some Like it Hot." However, on a more serious note: The 2nd stanza is all too much a standard in our world. Personally I have found the 1st stanza a lot more fulfilling than the 2nd. Of course, that makes me sound like a choir boy! But Choir boys sometimes just wanna have fun!
