Gregorian ChantA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenThe mysteries of life?Voices raised to the very roof of the cathedral in adoration, in supplication. Sweet refrains, the mantra of the zealots, made not for Him, but for you. Music to take
you to a place of
worship where you can
commune with the Lord, where you may self
flagellate. Have you never
worshiped Him, felt His
presence, felt that
nothing here on earth mattered?
Felt your heart
swell and your soul float towards heaven? This greed
filled world distracts all from having a
relationship with Him. Lead us not
into temptation
Lord, but deliver us
from evil. But it is too
difficult these days, as the earth
melts, to know what is
evil and what is
not? 21/04/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more.. |
