Eilis

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Check out amazing poetry: http://www.writerscafe.org/eiliswren

"

I read you,

again

and again,

and decided

I was not a poet.

For your words

simply spill

in imaginative

descriptive

and emotive ink,

and I know

none

who could today

paint

in oil

with such mastery.

I find on this web sites are so many great poets and writers who are completly unnoticed. I think it will be great idea if you make like every months poem about some forgotten authhor who is here.

Eilis is really great author but also person who you can have conversation about writing. Sometimes i am really tired from people who just say my writing is great but who basicaly say nothing about what i wrote. So i am very glad some people here actually reading others works and make connections .

Glad you do and many thank yous!
This is very kind, John. Truth be told, I am always holding myself up to other poets and wondering how I can reach their heights. I don’t see myself at all as a great writer, just someone trying to get it down like so many others.

I guess it’s just part of the creative process to see something we love in someone else’s work and want to find a way to it. I guess it’s one of the things that keeps us writing. Thanks to you.

The flagella by the way is the whip like tail of cells used for locomotion (kind of ironical huh) words... cant live with um wont live without um. I too feel this way often my friend and then i just keep righting:) nice write by the way

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
