Believe it or not some people just don't like it!

What did you watch last night?

What do you mean

you didn't watch GoT,

are you not a fan?

 

Isn't half the world taken

in by all the hype,

by the marketing,

the costumes,

 the slick convoluted

storyline,

the characters,

the acting?

 

How can you avoid it

when it is all over

the internet,

all over talk TV

channels,

advertised incessantly,

even in the news?

 

It is in magazines

and the merchandise

is everywhere,

billboards,

video games,

toys and other

paraphernalia

flooding the market

to feed crazed

loyal fans.

 

So what is your problem,

Are you simply antisocial,

making a stand against

commercialism,

are you an anti capitalist,

'a red under the bed'

or simply just a miserable

party pooper?

 

What do you mean

you just don't like it?

The books were so good. Too good.
I couldn't watch. I tried. But the adaptation to television didn't measure up for me.
I already had the whole movie in my head. My way.

The title caught my eye since I'm a GoT fan. I like your take on it. Even being a fan (though the books are better), I defend anyone's right not to like GoT, or any fad of the moment, "just because." Enjoyed it.
