A Fusion Of GreenA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenIndependence from oppression is a vital modern right.I thought
that I heard you cry bitter tears as you fell onto your
knees, as he forced
himself through your
tightly guarded corridors,
lifting you high above
the battlements and throwing
you to that
little death, impaling your
sallow soft breasts upon the boulders
of Blackrock Cove. There the salty Irish
sea washed out your empty eyes, taking the colour
green for itself, as whitecaps raging in frothy injustice over such ripe rape, rushed back to shore. And we sang a dirge, a sad lament for too many broken Celtic
bodies washed up on foreign beaches after the imperial jackboots had crushed sovereign
bones to dust. So now is our time, we must unite. The top and the
bottom must be combined
again in glory, as all true
and loyal souls offer
fealty to this Emerald Isle. 02/06/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more.. |
