Extinction RebellionA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenExtinction Rebellion is a socio-political movement which uses nonviolent resistance to protest against climate breakdown, biodiversity loss, and the risk of human extinction and ecological collapse.Their
audacity had the Commons staring
in disbelief, bared
breasts and bared chests in the
gallery, feet super-glued
to the furniture for
extra hold on the attention of MPs,
Ministers, the
press, the viewing public and the
police. There was
mild shock, mild
wonderment, awe, confusion
and a degree of
admiration. The
climate was tense as was
their protest and
their cause. Now
they intend to
block London's rush
hour streets to stop
climate change! 15/06/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
