Altered StatesA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenEurope and the world changes before our eyes!French
kissing isn't what
it used to be, the frogs
have lost their touch, they are too
busy raising funds to save
Notre Dame from collapse. Their
tongues are tied up keeping the
Germans on-side, keeping
Angela Merkel from
trembling in the heat of a federal
Europe. The Spanish
have, at long
last, banished bull-fighting and the French can no longer keep pulling the legs off grenouilles. No more
cuisses
de grenouilles for
them. Oh and
the Italians have
stopped pinching girls
bottoms since
'Me Too' too. What a
changed world we live in! 25/06/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
