First Touch, First Kiss

First Touch, First Kiss

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

That moment of intense fluttering just before 'landing on the moon'.

"

So soft

the gentle breeze

that brings a

feathered kiss.

Eyes that meet

over affection's

gate

to condone

surrender

and the sharing

of ones whole

body, mind

and spirit.

Juices

flow

as slow

and deliberate

lips barely touch

the peach of skin.

Hearts jump

the space between

pressed chests,

two souls

weaving stars

as breaths

become quiet gasps

of pure,

unadulterated bliss.

Thank you so much Leslie. Hope you are well?
Before the kiss the eyes meet and invite to a confabulation... and then the magic journey you described so tenderly takes place to acquiescence.

well done says i! your poem captures it completely and with ease ... i had a dream a few nights ago of just such a kiss ... sadly the gentle softness of barely touching woke me up ;( ahhhhhhhh but a dream is a dream isn't it?! easily held and remembered .. love your poem! glad i did not miss it!

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
