Introspection

A difficult thing to do!

Searching

deep inside

is not an easy task.

Much simpler

to look out the window

of the soul

and curse at what

the weather brings,

rather than

dress appropriately.

Searching deep inside is something that seems to turn up in my writing but perhaps we might not like what we find. I think most of us have a great capacity for self deception. It's always nice and often a surprise when someone says something nice about us so it's something we don't do ourselves enough. I like poems that make you pause for thought John.

I guess life is strange. Having looked at her on the internet |I recognise many of her songs and it took me back to childhood where I do recall her name in our household. Thanks for the memories as they say!

The hill district of Pittsburgh produced some amazing Jazz performers Earl Hines, Roy Eldridge, Erroll Garner, Kenny Clarke, Art Blakey, Stanley Turrentine Billy Eckstine, Mary Lou Williams, Ray Brown, George Benson. right now Denzel Washington is doing a second film of one of the many plays written by August Wilson that is famous for writing about "The Hill" (I have rented a few props to them recently) and my stepson is one of the main artist building the sets:)
