Fifty Years in Black and WhiteA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenTime flies............................................................................I walked on
the moon with Neil
Armstrong. Really I
did, I was there
in those grainy shots as he descended
the steps of the
eagle, as he put
the first human foot on the lunar
surface and spoke man's
first immortal
words from two hundred and forty thousand miles away. I watched as
he and Buzz planted the
Stars and Stripes, and played
like Michelin
kids, leaping and
jumping. It was not
easy, I can tell
you. My dad had
to keep adjusting
the aerial! 20/07/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
