I like the simplicity of this idea. Seems like the idea of zen put in layman’s terms.

Sometimes a word is just a word until it is painted out into a picture that makes it living. Your words here offer a sense that peace comes with the abandonment of the trappings. In the letting go.

The way I see it is that the earth represents all the vain and overwhelming feelings like jealousy, bitterness, spite, etc., and rising above them all leads us to a peaceful life. This is where you took me. Nicely penned.
