I Wish

I Wish

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

We Can Dream!

"

I wish I was

a true poet,

able to sculpt

art from raw

words.

I wish I had

the skills

to chisel

away the bark

until

life was told

in stanzas

carved of oak.

I wish I could

perform

the miracle

of turning

dead wood

thoughts

into a vibrant

living monument

of verse.

I only wish

I could.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
