Thanks Crowley. We have not seen summer and it is becoming the norm, although in saying that I am pleased we don't get the severe weather some get. Things like destructive tornados, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanioc eruptions!

Wonderfully said, John. I find that the seasons and the years are careening downhill as I get older.
At 10 or 12 summer seemed to last forever...now...I feel that chill in my bones and shudder at the thought of approaching winter.

just that fast ... only yesterday as Norma and I sat on the front porch ... temp in the high 80s .. sun shining brightly ... everything still seemingly summer; but I turned to her and said "Well .... winters coming!" ;) just that fast
