A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Time seems to rush by and summer has eluded us again. Capatcha: My Life Changed in the Blink of an Eye,The Wellness Universe.

"

I watch summer slip,

simply the blink of an eye

and it's gone again.

Aye short because that is what the discipline of the senyru demands lol. Many thank yous.
Wonderfully said, John. I find that the seasons and the years are careening downhill as I get older.
At 10 or 12 summer seemed to last forever...now...I feel that chill in my bones and shudder at the thought of approaching winter.

A good write.

Time and tide wait for no man. It's the beginning of August John. Give us a break and let summer stay a bit longer. I am not a fan of her sister autumn :)

Can't blame you. Me too has sort of got out of hand. Snowballed into a man hating monster.
Time is always fast counting,
Moments never wait for a man.
It quicken steps,
It makes the present a past.
What once exist,
Is now gone forever.

We are always hoping for a future that will surely become a past.

I like your expression here, John.
