Silver Lining

Silver Lining

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

There is always one it seems.

"

A silver tongue

can still be cut out

and a silver spoon

melted down.

A silver bullet

might save you

from the beast

and a silver salver

in silver service

may serve you well

as you fill

the silver plated

whisky flask

you bought

with silver coins

from the silver smith

in Silver Street.

And you think

you deserve a

silver medal

for being

ecologically sound

and planting

a silver birch?

Wow those clouds

in your head

certainly

seem to have one!

it will,thanks
Both sides of the coin, the haves and the have nots. There is a great deal of silverware on show here. Silver linings I like, providing the right people get them. I'm pleased I read this again for typo's because I found, the have nits and the have nuts just in time :)

Have nits and have nuts sounds good to me Chris. Many thanks.
A nice collage of silver images here. The Lone Ranger would have loved it.
