Dreamscape

Sometimes a kaleidoscope of emotions, like a warm shower on naked skin bursts forth from the cafe.

I am running.

Running

free.

Flying free as a bird,

soaring higher

and higher

but hit

a wall of words

in space,

woven in eloquence.

I cannon off the sides

of this red coated canyon

and spin in helpless

confusion,

falling to the dusty ground

where I am covered in

writing.

I lay,

taking in air as

I recover my breath

and my composure.

There is Ink on my naked skin,

the smell of your scent

fills my senses,

the swell of your

firm, soft breasts

pressed to my

chest

as French kisses

fill

the pages.

Here is the story

to be told

in silence,

to be thought,

not spoken,

as desire

fills the room.

I'm a bit dizzy after reading this poem. WC is certainly a k'scope.
Noticed the BGM channel thing . . . if you listen closely there are only a certain set of songs they play and they play the same ones on each of their sites. Not made for strict listening I suppose.

It’s such an interesting dynamic, this online sharing thing. The way we learn from and are stimulated by one another. Us creatives need stimulation for sure!

In an environment like this, it’s easy to imagine everything in the box of each poet is exactly what we’d like it to be. Things can be ideal and as long as we don’t pierce the veil they stay that way.

I really like the way you articulated the sense of intimacy that can pass between writers here. Great work, John.

I love those waves of emotion that pass tween the poets i have a habit of reading a new work a couple of times then saving it on my read list to fully absorb the lines and in doing this practice I see little nuggets popping up and sprouting from the writes to other writers I think this is a natural process that had been going on for centuries but in the cafe it happens at light speed. it is a pleasant feeling when your words get taken and absorbed and manipulated tickled and touched when you drink the words of others and do the same the voice gets carried to a beautiful furtherance keep drinking that ink my fried it looks good on ya

sensual and sad....thinking of someone over a cup of coffee...even the warmth of the drink cannot warm the cold heart...but some of the memories will in time do that.
