Yes life has both it's good and bad.... Pros and cons.... But sticking to any of it is certainly a sign of onstinancy.... Which will only dampen our mood...

It's exactly because life ain't all it's cracked up to be that I'll stick around! One of the things I learned in Girl Scouts is to leave a place better than I found it, and that's my main goal in life too.

seems so often that good folks pass on and the cracked nuts stay behind. god doesn't want him or her we say - they've got more people to irritate. yes - the stubborn ones have too much fight in them and too many people to irritate. good stuff john although you just reminded me of all the people i dislike (why can't they be given a one-way ticket... :)

Obstinate can be a very good thing as your poem shows. Great title. Life certainly can be anything but rosy especially through these times and yet with all that we experience good and bad, we know it’s worth sticking around. Your poem emphasizes that.
