That's what the sunflower does. Follows the path of the sun. Isn't that clever? I love the sun too John. Your choice of music, right up my street :) I also like your posted image.

This reminds me of the smell of my cat's head which I always associate with the scent of the sun. I love smelling her head. Cats love to be worshipped.

Now smelling cats heads is definitely defined in ICD-11 didn't you cover psychiatry Dr! I recommend try babies heads, especially when they are washed in Johnson's Baby Shampoo! Lovely. Many thanks for reading Markus.

Heliotropism, to me is a kind of sun worship where a flower moves its face always in the sun's direction and this is maybe because they love and depend on the sun so much for sustenance. Maybe it applies to the colder countries where people love the sun more because they have very less of it and so I understand this attraction for the sun. We in hot countries more like are tired of it. Thesse lines are written simpley briefly and bring out your feeling.

Thank you Sabrina and I know you are right as many would love our weather and the rains we get. This poem is in modern Japanese style. It is a Haiku which has 5/7/5 syllables and relates to nature. It's sister the senuru has 5/7/5 but can be on any topic. They are fun to try and I hope you get to experiment with different forms on tour degree course.

Okay....Thanks for telling me. I am not very familiar with this art form having learnt only sonnets at college and mine are very stilted. So thanks and I'll try my own haikus sometime soon.
