When we write. We are open to others views.
"But I can share myself,
my body and soul,
only with a few
who can forgive me
my sins
and who are prepared
to sleep with the devil."
I did like the honesty of the above words. Outstanding poetry shared John.

This is a fun poem. I reach out to a lot of people because I have a message to share and I believe those who need to hear it will benefit from reading my work. I'm open to intelligent conversations with people, but a lot of what I get is just small talk, and I ignore it.

I have to confess, I could do some weeding of my own. I don't add too many these days. My contacts comprise of a fair few who do not use their accounts anymore. Well conveyed free verse John. A reminder for me to do some gardening.

I am pretty radical at it myself, especially those who seem inactive. Many thanks for reading Chris.
When I first became part of the great online social bowel movement, I attempted to find meaning in my friend's list. For example, I would not say "yes" to a friend request from someone who'd only posted 2 or 3 poems becuz I would need to see a body of work to see if I wanted to read this person regularly. All such distinctions have gone by the wayside, however, as the years go by & my friends list reaches the hundreds & half of them never visit the cafe anymore, but I hate to let go becuz many return in time & it's great to be friends becuz then I see them in my newsfeed on those rare occasions when they re-appear. Nothing at all as tidy & rigid as your own set of rules, as set forth in this poem. I daresay maybe I shouldn't be a friend to anyone if I were to uphold such lofty standards! But I totally understand the wish to control this willy-nilly phenom of online friends! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

I think I have less than 20 on my list as I do generally remove inactive folk. Many thanks again Margie.
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
