Age is never an impediment to desire!

Your look

has it all.

 

You carry

yourself

 

with authority,

confidence;

and I stop

and consider

the fragrance

of your beauty.

 

Time is etched

into your DNA

but your spirit

is free

and you  are

still as vital

as you were

as a virgin.

 

Me, I desire

to find

that perfect bosom

in which to

follow

the star that has

eluded

my self actualisation.

 

A woman who loves freedom

of thought

and turns it into poetry

and art

and  wants

to express

her fertility.

Well, being within the perimeter of old age I can only say that desire, like wine, gets better with time--especially if the bottle has been aged n' rested for a while...a long while...but I dont drink wine I wouldn't know. :) I like your poem...it brought to mind The Birth of Venus by Botticelli :)
