One World

One World

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

The people have responsibility to stay human!

"

I hate despots

and cranks;

I detest politicians

mostly too.

Why is it so many

leaders take us

into the desert?

I love peoples

and cultures

and their art.

No matter their colour

or creed.

I fall in love

with their poets,

their musicians,

their painters,

and everyone

who espouses

the love of

humanity.

We are more alike

than different,

and our individuality,

our colour,

our offerings

are simply alike,

even if represented

in diverse ways.

Love prevails

and we must, should

fight for it's

very existence

and survival!

Spoken like a true lover John...we are from that generation we loved making love no war...anyway, it was never about the color of the skin but the color of the heart...!

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
