Stepladder to Self Awareness

Stepladder to Self Awareness

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

My first attempt at: STEPLADDER an original poetic form created by: Robert "Bad Bunny" Trakofler ©2019 Stepladder is composed of 3 Quatr

"

I am

who I think I may be

for only I know the truth

of it.

A sham

that I try not to see

that I've hidden from the youth

I quit.

A jam

without a true key

into that absolute truth

of fit.

Gosh, John!

You sure shined your olde pen up for this one.
You're spot-on in every aspect and dimension of this excellent original by our good buddy, Robert "Bad Bunny" Trakofler … what an amazingly varied guy he truly is!
And, what an honest self-accounting you've laid out for us to measure our own selves by … thus, exemplifying your fine poetic flexibility and mastery.
Nice artwork and music choices, too.
We would most all do well to observe, not only how well you've struck this unique Stepladder form, but in the open, honest, and concise way you've done it … I resemble those remarks! 😏

Excellent, Brother John … KUDOS! ⁓ Richard 🍃

Every word is sincere and truly meant.
what happens when we don't even fit into our own lives?

we just keep trying it on.

Even if there is not a fit and it goes on and on. Many thanks Jacob.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
