Goddess of Art

Goddess of Art

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

All of us who think ourselves as writers need a muse from time to time. More Linked senryu.

"

A muse is a muse,

stimulation, no more,

as passion rises.

As heat increases

and tender morsels are shared

under the duvet.

The intensity

of such anticipation

fuels the writer's pen.

But a delusion

is simply that, a fiction

without true belief.

Many thanks Cyprian.
even the fiction moves our pen...
delusions, illusions, intrusions of the moody muse.
