Brother Sun

Brother Sun

A Poem by Dara
"

This poem is dedicated to my cousin Patrick, a child of the sixties who tragically died from complications involving Hepatitis C.

"

The sky is awashed in color

to mark that day is done.

The salty breeze

surrounding us whispers,

“Rest in peace”

oh Brother Sun.

Both these words and the photo honor your cousin to perfection. Standing in the light surf at sunset isn't a bad place to be.
