Just Another Day

In memory of my Aussie mate.

 

 

As days turn into weeks

and weeks into months

the lost feeling

still remains.

 

You have been gone just a year

and the truth is very clear

my heart still feels

the pain.

 

Yet the love that we shared

dulls this pain that I bear

giving me strength

and courage anew.

 

As bravely I trod

and 'midst chaos I plod,

just another day

without you.
