A tribute to two American heros, Aretha Franklin and John McCain, who both lost their battle with cancer just a week apart.

In a world full of chaos,

a nation under siege

there once lived a Queen of Soul

and a Warrior who believed

that this country, we all call home,

though fraught with imperfection,

still held the key to universal peace

amid trials and tribulation.

May we keep their memories alive forever

  as we hold our heads up high

and continue fighting for

what they believed in

no matter what

the price.
