When loving someone from a distance…

I want my love
Like a lighthouse to be
Standing tall and firm
Above a raging sea.

Or shining boldly
On a damp foggy night
To keep you safe
With my bright white light.

Steadfast and strong
As an old oak tree.

A light to guide you
On a cold dark night
Forever glowing
Forever bright.

Yes, I have one but sometimes the distance becomes too much. However, there is always hope and that helps keep me going. Thank you for your kind words. I am with you, I prefer simple prose myself. Take care!

i have to chuckle over your comment "When loving someone from a distance" ... it's a much easier thing to do isn't it dear friend?! close proximity in due time requires work to keep it together .. the expression of love and desire to be a guiding light for another is noble and wakes up the dream of it in me .. there is an innocence in this one ... that endears your words to me .. blessing of peace and light to you Dara!!

Oh yes! It’s much easier from a distance but in some ways more pure. Those little irritations that life brings are not present so one sees the essence of the other in a different light. Definitely for the hopelessly romantic at heart. (Moi) lol. I am glad it caught your attention though. Always wonderful to see you. Hope your year is starting out great! xxx
