CharmingA Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore. This is another in my ongoing series of troubadour love poems dedicated to the most wonderful, lovest and charming lady I have ever had the honour of meeting.Thee dost send mine heart into paroxysms of delight so charming art thou in grace and wit.
The silver tinkle of thy laughter the challange to win thee sets mine soul afire.
Mine thoughts on thee wouldst make thee to blush. Thoughts on thee---aaah and a life for sharing!
Thoughts such as these I wouldst forsake, I wouldst forbid, if thou wouldst but gift to me a lock of thy hair...
So sweet the smile thou dost bestow legions of angels with faces aglow wouldst fail to thrill me so.
All of those heavenly gifts piled high I wouldst forego, I wouldst trade them all for one of thy smiles.
