a tongue-in-cheek write that one of my contemporaries found amusing

I am not a poet

my lines are all trivial

Junk, when finshed

all I want to do is throw it!

 

I am not a poet

my thoughts my words are worthless

My rhyming schems they suck

If you have to listen to my stories

than you are out of luck!

 

I am not a poet

that is but a pipe dream

 my words have no rhythm

 my stories have no themes

 

If you want to be disgusted

 than read my my scribblings please

 but a word of caution here

 you will rue the day indeed.

 

I am not a poet

 as you will find to your ill ease

 but if you insist on being sickened

 than read my writings if you please.
