Makes me think of their perhaps brief lives and times under the sun in which they find love eternal and the bloom of spring that dwells in their spirit forever. How beautifully with your words, you capture the beauty and nobility of Nature and it’s creatures...

your appreciation of our feathered friends and Mother Nature inspires me Pat .. every time .. your matter of fact presentation woven with color and touch and scent ... i am making an effort to watch birds, try and note how to ID them lately .. my brother in law gave me a bird book a while back and i am finally making use of it... just last month a pair of blue birds checked out our "bird house" ... it may even be the same that had it last year ... so exciting!

Now that we seem to live in a Bird Sanctuary, I am hoping this year to also attract Blue Birds.. it may take a few years with a Special blue bird Box for nesting. Hummingbirds can take awhile to find your feeder. This January we have lived in this Cluster of Homes for two years, so we may be in for a lot of Birds as time goes by. It is exciting that you have Blue Birds. With best regards, Pat
Photo and words. Amazing dear Pat. Here in Michigan, confuse birds hang around. The weather is confusing them. 50 degrees in Michigan. New thing for Michigan. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry my friend.

Wishing you the best new year ever. We have a huge window that overlooks an old Deck with a wide Ledge where I leave lots of seeds scattered including oiled sunflower seeds. We see so many Breeds, especially Cardinals all year (up close and personal) if we are very still and do not scare the birds. It is a wonderful feeling to nourish them. I distract the Squirrel and Ravens by putting out Roasted unsalted Peanuts in the Shell in several Cirners if the large wide Ledge around the Deck.
With affection... Pat

On what better than birds to represent our longing for freedom and romance! They are exposed to predators and the elements but still survive and that is the core of the human existence. Deep inside, I feel your connection and gratitude in your season of life. May your observations and wings of imagination carry you to your heart's desires.
