Cardinals of persuasion

Cardinals of persuasion

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

A prayer with hope and restoration...

"
Waiting on the edge of eternal waves of destiny...

a Cardinal flew upon my shoulder with a Heart worthy

of devotion bringing a message from my dear Mother...

who left me one night just after Christmas celebration...

I had felt her Spirit as it left her body and moved the curtain

between heaven and earth, leaving a light that shines in

the darkest of nights when we are sequestered in fear...

And lo, an Angel drew near with wings of gossamer and silver

leaving ripples in the ocean where beauty lies in the

reflection of eventide where love abides.

Amen

What a moving, inspired and perfectly lovely poem dear Pat! Cardinals are little harbingers, messengers from beyond. Thank you for sharing this ultimate and profound experience with us- your mother reaching out in love, through the silver membrane of life and death, to communicate to her beloved daughter via a Cardinal...the imagery unforgettable...” the reflection of eventide where love abides.” Yes. I loved this and thank you so much for it. Xo

How warm and wonderful your words are here. Yes, I believe we receive messages from those we lost. Sometimes in the form of a bird, a butterfly, or even a cloud. Your mother was a beautiful lady. Your words touched me. Lydi**

A gorgeous write to a beautiful and wonderful mom. She is visiting you indeed to keep the love alive and her memory too. Good that you cherish her and write about her.

All true and well said. You are welcome....
dear folks... my Mother was the sweetest flower
as shown in the photo... she gave birth to me when
she was seventeen and she passed when she was
fifty-seven. Now she visits me as a Cardinal which
stirs my soul and encourages me to carry on with a
lust for living through all sorts of weather and circumstances.
