Painted Lady

My heart flutters like a Painted Lady Butterfly 

as the soft raindrops are caught like sequins 

on rose petals as the music of the Lark brings 

memories of orchestrated violins... 

The azure blue of caring eyes and sighs  

of romantic Rendezvous spent with you... 

I become entranced by the embrace of your Smile

dear Chris… there has been a soft Rain all night… and we do need the pleasure it brings… knowing that we need the moisture of those kisses to keep romance as is was when love first bloomed.
