Ya Think?

He called the major league baseball player “OUT” at 1^st base. But was he? Really?

To be sure.

Some of the umpires huddle behind home plate and listen intently to headsets for an official call. Now we are told they are talking to New York. Two things collide in my mind at once.

I would like to know why New York can see any better than the rulers on the field? Both camps have instant replay and can make this critical call. And what makes New York the place to call?

In fact I would wager they are not talking to New York at all.  They have called a guy in Lower Brule, South Dakota. (Never go there).

He sits in a short trailer that needs a paint job. Someday soon he will get dressed but for this game he only needs a voice. Sitting in filthy boxer shorts and a t-shirt that is 2 sizes too small he beer burps out his take on the video. He needs to shave his week old beard, comb his hair and wash more than once a year.  Petting a lap-cat while scratching under an arm because he can.

But the announcers declare that New York has made this difficult decision and the player is “What Ever.”     BURP!
