If only you knew...

how i learned and developed...

if only you knew...

how i began

if only you knew...

how i had to struggle

if only you knew

how much i had to depend on myself 

If only you knew!

then you might feel sympathy for me...

But barely anyone knows,

because they think what they want to think

almost no one knows. 

they wont believe me anyway....

People don't know about each other's lives until we make that connection and begin sharing with each other. We can live under the same roof for years and yet be strangers to each other. It is quite confusing but true. Thank you for sharing your poetry.
