Contour
A Poem by
Patrick Schultz
Moments before lovemaking
As I lie next to you
I run the tips of my fingers
Along the contour of your body
Tracing message only your skin
Would accept
One only your skin would fold to
I spell the name of the thing you embody and you smile holding onto me
Like fervent prayer
And I fall into your comfort
Spelt

This short poem has it all; it's sweet, sexy, image filled and comforting. Nice job.

I love seeing poems like this, on love and the purity of the intentions of humans. This poem makes me feel warm
