Star in the Sky

Star in the Sky

A Poem by Lighthouse

Astronomy Stars In The Sky

For the longest time
i saw stars in the sky
bleeding bright lights,
wounded by isolation,
stolen by space,

and foolishly thought
it was only me
trapped in darkness.

Always have company even if cannot be seen. The sky always had me pondering the slightest thought.
Thanks for sharing...

Thank you Amy.
What a wonderful way of looking at that star. A different perspective. Meaningful poetry.

Superb truth, offered as a poem - re-creating a weeping myth.

You're welcome.
Even with the company of all those other stars, we can be quite lonely.
Thank you for this poem...it put me in a mood of understanding this feeling.
