I Have Come to Love the Darkness

I have come to love the darkness

I have found inside myself

The World and all the people in it

Seem to fade as though they were never there

And I am alone.

I am happy.

I have learned to despise the light

It tears apart a world of joy

making it into reality.

The world I have found inside myself

 Can thrive only in the darkness.

The light kills my world.

Therefore, I live in shadows

in silence.
