Becase I Loved Her

Becase I Loved Her

A Poem by Perdition

I turned a song of velvet shell within her

I washed her mind from god and buried her in

The clouds and impassioned rain

Saving her life with our bodies and tea of tears

It was my last and only wish

To see her covered in the look of our madness

Her dark wash of eyes welled inside of me

The last stone erection denied down upon us

The last words I could ever dare

There

Inside her pauses

Before I crossed

The last of my redemption

Covering me with now

Still revealed

A single life to save

She denied

Implying resurrection peculiarly to will it away

She adorned me in hope

Somehow feeling there was somehow a way

And I couldn’t help but melt her ease

Her last signs and drops of

The scars I held from another life calling me home

I could never wish her hurt but sometimes the only way to heal is to hurt

And the only way to love is to fall completely

Giving yourself to the clouds and rain as if they were the last of gifts you could give

Before the scars return

Lovely, and interesting poem, P.
The last few lines reminiscent of Rumi - that poet of most loveliness.
