My wish

My wish

A Poem by Perry N Adaminor

I made a wish, this time there were no birthday candles, only the kindling of the fire inside of my heart, before I closed my eyes unto reality, and allowed the winds of eternity blow me into the world of dreams, I need a seamstress Or a tailor, I’m sewing my world all over again, in my dreams, reality disappears, and I imagine the dragons, I see the depths and Heights of the mind, as I was born nature struck me a blow, Apparently nature is a better fighter than Muhammad Ali. I was in the limelight of my dreams, the celebrity, the centre of attraction, in my dreams, I learned to love, in my dreams,  I learned who I was, as my eyes fluttered shut, I found the words escape my mouth , I wish reality would fade, but I knew I’d sleep to never wake, and  strong I walked head-on to my grave
