All Roads Lead To You... 

I roamed freely from faraway lands, 

Where golden shores embraced the ocean sands, 

Still feeling your lingering touches on my hands. 

Seeking answers in the vast expanse, 

Yet every journey led me to a trance, 

Making my soul feel like its still in your wicked dance. 

Haunted by our bittersweet memories that lingered so very close, 

Of joys, sorrows, sweet obsessions and secrets morose, 

Believing I have found an escape key. 

Till my mind kept replaying how I was your Queen bee, 

I realized I was not free, 

It hurt so much, making me feel like a Banshee... 

I even dreamt of a future where you were absent, 

But even my dreams reminded me of how you still held my heart, 

Being away from you hurt my heart like it was struck with a poisonous dart. 

All roads lead to you, even the ones I took to get away from you. 

I can't just carry on and follow through, 

You are my deepest obsession, 

My only sense of direction, 

I need your sweet affection,

To kiss you is the only reaction. 

Your touch is bliss, 

One that I always miss, 

And onward do I press, 

Again to feel your sweet caress, 

The sin I will never confess. 

You are the flame to my gasoline, 

My heart burns deep within, 

And beats at a pace never before seen, 

Close to you, is the closest to love I've ever been. 

Please always keep near, 

Don't leave me alone here. 

Let us stay together, 

And face all the bad weather,

With hearts light as a feather, 

In sweet company, such delightful pleasure. 

All the paths of my heart lead to you, 

This is true, baby don't feel blue, 

I do so, love you...

A very emotional relationship that has its ups and downs, like most....there is much melancholy in this scene... but hope as well....humans need love, even if not perfect....because no relationship is...
even with some unhappy moments, there is a need for love and understanding...you speak of bittersweet memories, yet there is much passion as you portray to the reader....very well written, I enjoyed reading this.....
